The tray has a such an interesting pattern, a beautiful spiral eye in the center surround by an arrangement of light & dark tones of brown. The tray dimensions are 15″ x 15″ x 1 1/2″

Construction, materials, and design are consistent with basketry traditions of New Guinea, though exact regional origin has not been independently verified. The baskets and trays are:
