A serigraph is a fine art reproduction deriving its name from the Greek “Seri” for silk and “Graph” for picture. The printing plates are hand made by the artist on silk and printed by hand on pressed wood in permanent oil paints. No photography, film or mechanical means are used. The original of each serigraph was created by Mark Coomer sketching and painting from nature at the locale of the subject.
